Fall Outfit Ideas for Girls: 3 Easy Looks
Now that school is fully in session, we’re rounding up some of our fall outfits for girls. Whether your daughter gravitates toward cool classics, colorful dresses, or sporty staples, these three looks make getting dressed for school a little easier—and much more fun.
The cool girl

This is how I wish my daughters wanted to dress! She pairs a classic three-quarter-sleeve striped shirt from Saint James with white baggy jeans from Mini Boden, because the “no white after Labor Day” rule simply doesn’t apply to her.
She finishes the outfit with a pair of patent red Mary Janes from J.Crew or Childrenchic. Honestly, I’d want to steal the entire look for myself!
The princess

This describes my daughters through and through. If they could, they would wear princess costumes to school every day, but we’ve established that those are strictly for wearing at home.
Instead, they opt for colorful dresses from Mini Boden, Jacadi, or Janie and Jack. They usually pair them with jelly sandals from Mini Melissa or Konges Sløjd, both of which hold up well.
If you happen to be in Europe over the summer, I also recommend picking up a pair of sandals from Liewood. They’re lightweight, comfortable, and reasonably priced.
The sporty girl

My daughters attended tennis camp over the summer and have been really into tennis skirts and dresses ever since. And I don’t blame them!
Ralph Lauren offers some great tennis skirts that pair perfectly with their classic polo shirts. To complete the look, they wear New Balance sneakers, which are some of the most comfortable shoes in my opinion. It’s an easy, put-together look that can take her from the classroom straight to the tennis court.
